We have been supplying low grade chip into the Biomass market for a number of years now. More recently we have begun to produce high quality boiler grade chip, this is not to be confused with standard ‘ tree surgeons arisings. This is a chip which has been produced from timber which was felled a minimum of 1 year prior to chipping, stored in a clean dry building and delivered in a covered vehicle.
We believe we have the largest stockpile of round timber in Hertfordshire for G30 supply.
Supplied by the m3 or tonne for use in larger scale power stations
This is woodchip from our tree work activities, although it is a good, consistent, quality chip, its moisture content is above 40% and it contains too many fines for the high quality chip market.
This wood chip is stored outside in a concrete storage area ready for distribution normally 27 tonnes at a time.
This is produced by us from locally sourced timber, harvested in a
sustainable way. Our timber is air dried, chipped and stored undercover, to await distribution.
